Indra Swari

Personal Profile

Indra’s love of wild life photography started at a young age, but really took off the first time she held a camera underwater as a diver. She found a natural affinity with her subjects and a greater awareness of the fragility of the underwater environment that fuels her passion.

Her initial love of macro photography has developed over the years to take in underwater seascapes and large underwater mammals as well as wildlife and landscape photography.

Although her passion and first love remains the underwater world, her ability to see beauty through the lens has allowed her to develop a wide and varied portfolio of photographs from around the world.

Her dedication to her photography has been recognised internationally, by organisation such as National Geographic and BBC/Natural History Museum Wildlife Photographer of the Year.
